Founder, Roxana Bowgen secured and sent volunteers
on several occasions to offer relief services to the
emergency medical workers, police and firefighters
at the site of the World Trade disaster. The team
volunteered for aid at St. Paul's Chapel near the
site.
Throughout the night volunteers cooked meals, served,
distributed clothing and toiletries to disaster workers.
They cleaned and maintained St. Paul’s Chapel
to suit the needs of the relief workers. Linens were
provided and changed. The church floors were mopped,
the kitchen and bathrooms were cleaned, and supplies
were organized in an effort to provide a sense of
shelter and safe-haven to the relief workers.
