Ms. Bowgen formed part of a committee and was instrumental in introducing this program to her communities of New Canaan, Stamford and Darien, Connecticut.

By connecting houses of worship in the area and working through St. Luke's in the city of Stamford to identify needy individuals, congregations hosted homeless families on a rotating basis. Meals were prepared and provided by the hosting congregations.
