Major Donor Development Professional

Three year old international humanitarian NGO, based in Greenwich, CT, seeks an experienced professional fundraiser to assist with major organization expansion. Volunteers On Call, Inc. focuses on meeting the needs of underprivileged, impoverished, oppressed and voiceless people domestically and internationally while raising awareness about the value of volunteering.

Major Donor developer will raise a minimum of $500 thousand dollars in the first year, with the expectation of exponential growth in future years. Salary will reflect growth and be based upon proven performance.

Requirements:
• 5-10 years major fundraising experience
• Highly organized
• Relationship building and management experience
• Experience using Razor’s Edge

Responsibilites:
• Major donor development
• Securing in-kind donations
• Managing fundraising events & committee
• Donor relationship management
• Public speaking engagements
• Raising community awareness
• Grant writing
• Management and recruiting of additional grant writers
• Financial reporting and reconciliation of donor gifts

Grant Writing Intern/Volunteer

Three year old international humanitarian NGO, based in Greenwich, CT, seeks an experienced volunteer grant writer or intern to assist with major organization expansion. Volunteers On Call, Inc. is seeking someone to help in the preparation of grants to be submitted to private, corporate and community foundations.

Volunteer will also perform grant research to target grant opportunities matching our mission. Experience writing grants a big plus, but this could also be a good opportunity to turn good writing skills into solid grant writing experience.
